The aim of the Intercultural Mediation for Managers project is to develop a training programme for helping managers mediate in an intercultural context.
The project aims at helping both migrants and the managers employing them to deal with cultural differences occurring at the workplace. To help mediating and benefiting from an intercultural team, the project will develop a practical guide for the managers as well as an e-learning platform, accessible online. Mentoring Circles™, redesigned and re-titled Diversity Circles™, will help managers dealing with intercultural mediation at the workplace. In addition, a European-wide event will teach a group of managers to interact with foreign business partners.
This initiative is unique and innovative in Europe since it is the first time intercultural mediation takes place with managers as the target group.
